How It Works

Why WalkGraphy

More filming. Less coordination.

Remote city-video production should not mean sourcing unfamiliar camera operators, rewriting the same creative brief or guessing what usage rights are included. Our process is built around those practical problems.

01 / LOCAL CONTEXT

Real on-location filming

Plan footage around streets, public spaces and the way a destination actually looks and moves—not generic destination imagery.

02 / CREATIVE CONTROL

Built around your brief

Define routes, duration, orientation, recording style, ambient sound and any scenes to prioritize before filming starts.

03 / SIMPLER SOURCING

One point of coordination

Bring multiple requirements into one discussion instead of managing a separate production conversation for each destination.

04 / COMMERCIAL CLARITY

Clear files and usage terms

Agree the deliverables, licensing scope and practical limitations, including any extra rights clearance that may be needed.

Who we support

Made for people who need the world on screen.

Whether you publish content every week or need specific urban visuals for one campaign, a clear brief helps us match the production approach to your intended audience.

YouTube travel channels

Commission original city walks and route-specific footage without being present for every shoot. Discuss continuous recording, ambience and monetized-channel usage as part of your brief.

How the process works

Your brief. A coordinated shoot.

Start with the images you need, not with a complicated production process. Each project is scoped around location access, technical requirements, schedule and intended use.

STEP 01

Share the brief

Tell us where to shoot, preferred routes or landmarks, references and where the footage will appear.

STEP 02

Confirm the scope

Review availability, access needs, camera requirements, deliverables, licensing and the proposed quotation.

STEP 03

Film on location

The agreed local production arrangement captures the requested footage within practical site conditions.

STEP 04

Review & receive

Receive the files and agreed usage documentation through the selected delivery method.

Production & licensing

The details that make footage usable.

A strong final result starts before the camera rolls. We help turn creative references into a practical production brief so there are fewer surprises around what is captured, supplied and permitted for use.

Define the shot

Useful details to include when commissioning:

  • City, exact location or walking route
  • Video length, framing and orientation
  • Time of day, weather preferences and lighting
  • Resolution, format, stabilization and sound
  • Scene references, coverage priorities and edit needs

Define the usage

Clear licensing avoids assumptions after the shoot:

  • Publication channels and commercial purpose
  • Territory, term and any exclusivity requirement
  • Raw footage, selects or agreed edits
  • Third-party rights and location permission needs
  • File handover, review stages and delivery method

Specific permissions, releases, exclusivity and commercial usage rights are assessed for each project. Filming public places does not automatically clear every person, artwork, property or trademark for every form of commercial use.

Frequently asked questions

Answers before you commission.

Practical answers to common questions about locations, deliverables, licensing and production scope.

Can I commission a particular street, neighbourhood or route?

Yes. Share the exact location, preferred route, desired video length and a reference if available. We will review practical access, local conditions and shoot feasibility.

Can WalkGraphy coordinate shoots outside its established city markets?

We welcome enquiries for cities worldwide. For destinations beyond our established production areas, we can explore a suitable arrangement through local production partners, subject to availability and project feasibility.

Can I use the video on a monetized YouTube channel?

A license suitable for your intended channel use can be discussed and written into the project agreement. Other uses, exclusivity and any rights clearances must be confirmed separately.

Do you deliver raw video, edited clips or still photographs?

The deliverable is specified in the brief. Depending on the agreed scope, it may include original recordings, selected clips, edited sequences or photography files.

Can you match footage across several cities?

We can coordinate a shared technical brief covering framing, orientation, resolution, file naming and visual references. Actual conditions vary by location, so exact visual matching cannot be guaranteed.

What determines production pricing and turnaround?

Scope, destination, filming hours, logistics, technical specification, editing, licensing and permission requirements affect the quotation and schedule. Share your brief for an assessment.
