REAL STREETS. REAL CITIES. FILMED FOR YOU.

Walking Tour Video Production

Custom walking tour video production for travel channels, publishers and brands. Capture authentic city streets with location-specific briefs, coordinated filming and agreed delivery formats.

The service

Street-level city footage, commissioned to your brief

WalkGraphy produces custom walking tour videos for buyers who need genuine street-level perspectives rather than generic stock clips. Define the city, route, visual style, timing and intended use; we coordinate the shoot and deliver footage against an agreed brief.

For travel publishers

Show streets, neighbourhoods, transport connections and everyday city atmosphere in long-form or edited formats.

For YouTube channels

Commission immersive walk-through footage suitable for channel-led travel storytelling and virtual exploration.

For brands and agencies

Source location-specific urban scenes for campaigns, editorial features and destination content.

Production options

Choose the viewing experience

Different audiences need different approaches to pacing, framing and sound. We scope each production around its actual publishing purpose.

Continuous walking tours

Long takes, pedestrian-height framing and a clear sense of route progression, with minimal interruption where feasible.

Edited neighbourhood walks

Selected streets, points of interest and transitions assembled into a more concise location story.

Custom urban footage

Specific streets, landmarks, shopfront context, pedestrian movement or day-to-night scenes captured to a shot list.

Where we film

Six core cities. Wider reach by arrangement.

Our direct production coverage includes Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Macau, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. For other destinations, we can explore production through local collaborators, subject to availability and scope.

How it works

A practical production workflow

A clear brief helps avoid reshoots, mismatched footage and uncertainty about deliverables.

01 · Brief & feasibility

Share location, route, target duration, platform, deadline and reference examples. We review feasibility and scope.

02 · Shoot planning

Agree filming windows, camera approach, shot priorities, access considerations and any required permissions.

03 · Capture & review

Film to the agreed scope; review against the brief and identify any material limitations.

04 · Delivery

Supply the agreed files and usage terms through the specified transfer method.

Delivery planning

Technical specifications are agreed before filming

Resolution, frame rate, orientation, stabilisation, audio, editing and file formats affect both production and post-production. We confirm what is feasible for each assignment.

ItemOptions to specifyWhy it matters

Commercial usage

Plan for people, places and incidental audio

Public filming does not automatically make every use unrestricted. Identifiable people, private property, protected interiors, artwork, signs and incidental music may require additional review depending on jurisdiction and use.

Editorial vs advertising

State whether the footage is for documentary/editorial publishing or commercial advertising; permissions and risk can differ.

Recognisable individuals

Discuss model releases, framing choices or post-production masking where identifiable people are central to the shot.

Music and locations

Incidental background music, restricted sites and privately managed spaces may need clearance, replacement audio or an alternative route.

Rights, exclusivity, licensing territory and permitted uses must be defined in the written agreement. We do not promise universal clearance for uncontrolled public scenes.

Request a shoot

Send a brief we can actually quote

The most useful enquiries specify the intended audience and output, not just a city name.

  • City, neighbourhood and preferred route
  • Approximate duration and shot list
  • Reference videos or desired visual style
  • Target resolution, orientation and audio
  • Intended usage and licensing needs
  • Desired shooting and delivery dates

Frequently asked questions

Answers before you commission

The final scope, pricing and rights are established in a written project agreement.

Can I commission a walking tour for my YouTube channel?
Yes. Provide your channel format, desired location, duration and any technical requirements so the scope can be reviewed.
Do you offer uninterrupted walking footage?
Continuous-route filming can be requested. Actual continuity depends on route access, safety, local conditions and agreed production constraints.
Can you film outside your six core cities?
We can assess requests for other destinations through local third-party collaborators; availability and terms are confirmed case by case.
Can I request raw footage?
Raw footage, edited masters and alternate exports can be specified in the brief. The deliverables must be agreed before production.
Is all footage automatically cleared for advertising?
No. Commercial advertising may require additional permissions or releases, particularly for prominent individuals, controlled locations, artwork or music.
How is pricing determined?
Scope, location, shoot duration, travel, editing, technical requirements, rights and deadline all affect a quotation.
