CITY FOOTAGE. MADE TO YOUR BRIEF.

Custom City Footage

Commission original walking videos, urban timelapse and city photography tailored to your locations, shot lists, formats and intended use. Local production in six Asian cities; partner coordination elsewhere.

BESPOKE PRODUCTION

City footage built around your story

Stock libraries cannot always provide the exact street, season, camera movement or atmosphere a project needs. WalkGraphy coordinates original city filming against an agreed creative and technical brief.

Specify the place

Name a city, district, street, landmark or route, plus any location priorities.

Define the look

Choose natural street ambience, steady walking perspectives, static city scenes, timelapse or photography.

Plan the output

Align aspect ratio, duration, resolution, editing approach and delivery format before filming.

Each assignment is scoped individually. Location access, local rules, weather, crowds and third-party rights may affect what can be captured or licensed.

PRODUCTION OPTIONS

Choose the footage you actually need

One brief can combine several types of original urban visuals without forcing your team to source separate vendors.

Video

Walking tour & street video

Continuous or planned-route footage featuring authentic street life, neighbourhoods, waterfronts and urban environments.

Video

Urban timelapse

City movement, traffic, changing light and skyline transitions captured from suitable permitted viewpoints.

Photo

City photography

Editorial-style streetscapes, architecture, transport, public spaces and city details for digital or print applications.

BUYER APPLICATIONS

For content teams with specific requirements

Custom filming is useful when a location, timing, brand treatment or recurring format matters more than a generic clip.

YouTube travel channels

Commission route-based walking videos, ambient city footage and repeatable destination series.

Travel & destination platforms

Source location-specific visuals that support destination pages, itineraries and visitor-facing content.

Media & documentary teams

Request contextual street scenes, establishing shots and city atmosphere to support a production brief.

Brands & agencies

Plan campaign-aligned city visuals, subject to the required permissions and usage terms.

Recurring content buyers

Discuss consistent shot specifications across multiple shoots and destinations.

Editors & producers

Fill footage gaps with planned inserts, transitions and location-specific establishing shots.

FILMING COVERAGE

Six core cities. Wider reach through partners.

WalkGraphy has dedicated filming teams in six cities. Requests elsewhere can be assessed and coordinated with third-party local production partners.

Hong Kong · Shenzhen

Street life, waterfronts, dense urban districts and contrasting city perspectives.

Guangzhou · Macau

Historic and contemporary neighbourhoods, urban landmarks and city atmosphere.

Kuala Lumpur · Singapore

Distinctive Southeast Asian streetscapes, transport settings and skyline views.

Outside these six cities, availability depends on the location, partner capacity, permissions and the agreed production scope. Worldwide coverage does not imply a staffed local WalkGraphy team in every city.

REQUEST PREPARATION

What to include in your filming brief

A focused brief helps avoid mismatched footage and unnecessary revisions.

  • City, neighbourhood, route or exact locations
  • Walking video, timelapse, photos or a combination
  • Intended audience and publishing channels
  • Target duration, orientation and output format
  • Preferred time of day, weather or visual style
  • Audio, editing and post-production needs
  • Usage territory, term and exclusivity needs
  • Desired delivery date and indicative budget

USAGE & PERMISSIONS

Agree on how the footage can be used

Commercial usage is not automatically unlimited. Rights and restrictions should be reviewed against the planned publication, distribution and subject matter.

License scope

Define platforms, territory, term, modifications, sublicensing and any exclusivity in the agreed terms.

People & private property

Recognisable people, restricted sites, trademarks and private interiors may require permissions or a different treatment.

Location-specific rules

Permits, drone restrictions, tripod rules and filming access vary by jurisdiction and site.

WalkGraphy does not assume that filming in public automatically clears every commercial use. Any required releases or permissions must be addressed in the project scope.
